Factile !!!

Factile is a free learning platform that lets teachers create engaging jeopardy-style quiz games for the remote or in-person classroom. The platform allows for  assessing students’ understanding of new topics or review the latest concepts using their simple, user-friendly gameboard template. An instructor can create and share games with students, or search their database of already-created games. I would use Factile with Google Classroom to easily assign games and flashcards to assigned groups. Also we could compete with other Criminal Justice schools in a quiz bowl platform.

  1. Darrell, I am so excited about Factile, I appreciate you introducing this platform to me. I can already see how I will use it for work but I can also see how I will be able to apply it in the classroom. An example of how Factile can be useful in a human services course would come in the form of learning theory. I would use this tool to create jeopardy game on the different theorist and theories most commonly used in the profession as a way to get students familiar with understanding and using theory in their practice.

  2. Darrell,
Thank you for the introduction to Factile. This program looks very interesting and fun to use within the classroom for both the instructor and the students. I am familiar with Kahoot, but this program appears to be much more engaging. I love the fact that you can use it with Google Classroom since it is a platform that many students have become familiar with since the covid shut down occurred. Thank you again!
